The Law Office of James E. Favero III, P.A. was founded by James “Jimbo” Favero in January of 2018, focusing on real estate, construction, and business matters. Jimbo, as most call him, grew up in Central Florida, attending Lake Brantley High School. After high school, he attended the University of Florida where he played on the men’s lacrosse team and was an active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. After graduating cum laude with a degree in Finance, he began a real estate career as a sales associate for Pulte Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the nation.
After several successful years with Pulte Homes, the real estate market bubble burst, resulting in big changes to the homebuilding industry and numerous legal issues. Many of the executives at Pulte were attorneys by trade, which inspired Jimbo to pursue a legal career.
Jimbo then attended Stetson University College of Law, where he focused his studies on real estate, business, tax, estate planning, and construction law. During law school, he worked for a construction litigation law firm, a tax and estate planning law firm, and in the legal department for OSI Restaurant Partners (now Bloomin Brands).
After graduating law school, Jimbo began his legal career at a well respected civil litigation defense firm, where he worked for many years as a trial attorney handling hundreds of cases in workers’ compensation and general civil litigation matters. He then took a position as General Counsel and Vice President of Operations for a local construction company, before deciding to pursue his dream to open his own law firm.
Since working as a real estate sales associate with Pulte, Jimbo has also continued to work as a licensed real estate sales associate and real estate broker. He is founder and co-owner of FS Real Estate Services, LLC, a real estate brokerage, where Jimbo and several other “FS” REALTORS® help people and businesses buy and sell real estate.
Jimbo lives in Maitland with his wife, Amy, and their two children.
